The Institute for Free Enterprise is a non-governmental, non-political organization, created to the purpose of meeting current challenges in Romanian society.
This goal is reflected in the name of the Institute itself.
The Institute for Free Enterprise stands for its members' desire to get involved in a process they consider fundamental, and crucial for the development of society in Romania. This process is the attempt to radically change societal attitudes so as to ensure acceptance of individual independence rather than economic centralism, to promote concrete action in the private sector, to express the right to unfettered action and to care for fundamental individual rights.
We do believe that if free enterprise is regarded as a fundamental free option, in point of attitude and individual action of society members it will prove the only source of proper solutions for the major problems brought about by severe social, moral and economic crises facing the Romanian society.
